English Handwriting for Early Years is a course designed to help young learners develop their handwriting skills. The Kindergarten book is aimed for the children of the ages of 4.5 to 5.5. It focuses on children who will be writing letters for the first time. The book includes fun activities to keep them engaged. It offers a structured approach of developing a child’s fine motor skills from the earliest stage to a confident and legible style. English Handwriting for Kindergarten is divided into two sections:
Section I: Patterns; Section II: Letters; and Section III: Worksheets and revision .
Section I helps the child form and master different patterns, with few basic shapes, before they can jump to the actual letter formation.
Section II helps the child to practice the letter formation in a repeated manner so they can master before moving forward. Whereas, Section III focuses on beginning sounds and revision of previously covered work.
